Switchover system PNEUMAT 3 - basic information

PNEUMAT central supply panel ensures a continuous supply of medical gases

  • oxygen,
  • nitrous oxide,
  • compressed air,
  • carbon dioxide
  • and other compressed medical gases.

According to PN-EN ISO 7396-1 standard, the system is designed for:

  • two cylinder sources as backup supply for i.e. liquid oxygen tank;
  • or two cylinder sources as a stand alon source of gas;
  • or two banks as primary and secondary source + optional third bank as reserve.

Panel Pneumat is delivered as complete device mounted on interface plate with cover.

Automatic switching system is based on two solenoid valves that are normally open and during normal operation one solenoid valve remains live and closed.

Electronic switching system controls and monitors the supply of the gas to the distribution system, while reducing the pressure of cylinder batteries.
